Vintage Rose, issued in 2015, is a Forever stamp design. A detailed rose line drawing is paired with a small crimson heart for a restrained botanical design. Inspired by the work of naturalist Maria Sibylla Merian, these stamps complement wedding RSVP envelopes, thank-you notes and cards for many occasions.
Mailing use
Each Forever stamp has a postage value equal to the current USPS First-Class Mail domestic 1-ounce letter rate, even when rates change. One stamp covers a standard machinable domestic letter weighing up to 1 ounce. Heavier letters, nonmachinable envelopes, large envelopes and international mail require additional postage.
